FitKids’ Summer Sports Camps
In partnership with Barton Health’s Tahoe Center for Orthopedics, these week-long summer sports camps focus on improving kids’ overall health, wellness, athletic performance and building friendships.

Kids’ Bouldering Camp
This summer camp introduces kids to the amazing world of rock climbing through bouldering.

Kids’ Standup Paddle Boarding Level 1
In partnership with South Tahoe Standup Paddle, this summer camp introduces kids to the amazing sport of standup paddle boarding. With the skills learned in this camp, kids will have a solid foundation to enjoy standup paddle boarding on Lake Tahoe.  Swim experience necessary.

Youth Soccer Camp
We are excited to announce the inaugural Lake Tahoe Community College’s kid’s soccer camps. These camps are coached by our very own Collegiate Soccer Coaches and prepare kids with the skills needed to excel on the soccer field.  The week long camp will focus on individual and team skills including; passing, dribbling, shooting and heading.

Learn to create circular geometric art.  Kids will enjoy learning about basic geometric design, and putting it to creative use making their own Mandala's in this fun, interactive and hands on workshop.   Kids will learn the historical and practical perspective of geometric art.

Kids will mold masks using plaster, ceramic, and paper mache.  Kids will also learn about different art cultures, including Mardi Gras, African, Aboriginal, and Native American.  Kids will have an opportunity to explore their artistic side, build their imagination skills, and learn the creative process through mask making.

Kids’ Art - Painting Camp
In this art camp, kids will learn painting techniques inspired by nature walks and scavenger hunts. Kids will create art using watercolor, tempera, and acrylic paints.  Kids will also learn about color theory, light and shadow, and design and composition techniques.  Kids will have an opportunity to explore their artistic side, build their imagination skills, and learn the creative process of painting.

Spanish Kids’ Camp - Beginning and Intermediate Levels
This Spanish Kids’ Camp is offered in conjunction with the Intensive Summer Spanish Institute (ISSI) week at LTCC.  During this week-long camp, kids will be introduced to the Spanish language through fun activities, including paddle boarding, rock climbing, cooking, arts/crafts, and environmental awareness. Kids will experience the splendors of Lake Tahoe while learning the Spanish language.  Cost includes food and transportation.  $30 additional equipment use fee. Beginner level has little to no experience with Spanish. Intermediate level is fluent and able to listen and converse in Spanish.

Yoga for Kids
This one hour playful yoga class introduces yoga movement for young bodies. The practice of yoga encourages balance, coordination and focus. This week long day camp is taught in a supportive, creative format. Kids will also learn deep breathing, relaxation and concentration skills.  These skills are all excellent for helping kids live healthy lives.  Expect your child to be happier, more flexible, stronger, and morefocused.

Kids Archery
This week-long archery camp is a fun introduction to the sport of traditional archery. Kids will learn how to practice safety first, anatomy and function of the equipment, the basics of form and technique, and some history on the sport.  Kids will enjoy playing fun games that help develop their skills. Archery is a great way to get kids outside in the sunshine and fresh air. It is a fun and exciting activity that builds confidence and focus. Each participant will receive an archery folder along with daily handouts on history, facts, trivia, fun word games and puzzles.

Unicycling and other Circus Arts Workshop for Kids
Are you dreaming of becoming a circus artist? Here is your chance to learn to unicycle! Depending on participants' interest, we will also explore juggling, poi-swinging, or other circus arts, as well as perform for your families on the last day of the workshop.  This energetic workshop is designed to inspire children to learn a physically challenging task including the development of motor skills, balance, core strengths, safe risk taking, and creativity through play. Bike riding experience and enthusiasm is recommended. The material fee includes using a unicycle for the week as well as making a juggling toy. Bring your own bike helmet.  Ages 9-12.
