Run Like A Mother® Announces Charity Partnership for 2014 Davis Mother’s Day 5K Race

Participants give back to the community through support of the Davis Schools Foundation
National organization Run Like A Mother® is proud to announce that the Davis Schools Foundation will be its charity partner for the 2014 Davis Mother’s Day (May 11th) 5K race. Since 2004, Davis Schools Foundation (DSF) has been committed to educational excellence for all K-12 students in the Davis Joint Unified School District (DJUSD).  DSF works in partnership with parents, DJUSD and the community to provide grants to bolster, support and sustain district-wide educational opportunities that would not be possible with public funds.

Race participants will have a number of unique opportunities to support this important community charity. Run Like A Mother athletes can make a donation at the time of race registration or they can choose to purchase a special charity registration, which includes the race entry, specialized Run Like A Mother bib, merchandise and other great benefits to enhance their Run Like A Mother Mother’s Day celebration in Davis while benefiting DSF.

“We are excited to partner with DSF for our 2014 race season and continue to make a difference in Davis,” said Kali Slusser, Run Like A Mother Race director, Davis. “The DSF mission fits perfectly with Run Like A Mother’s tradition of partnering with charities that benefit women and children in the community.”
